Things you shouldn't say during sex

May all your ups and downs be between the sheets.

Image result for couple in bed pictures

We’ve all found ourselves in awkward situations when getting laid.

You know, those embarrassing little farts that pop out of nowhere, or trying out a new position that you both can’t get the hang of. It’s normal, you laugh about it and continue getting busy.
But then again there are those little hellish moments we create for ourselves that can completely throw off the mood. Most times you didn’t mean to say it out loud but you did and now you have to face an awkward thirty minutes of apologizing before you get lucky.
Save yourself the hustle, here are a things you shouldn't say when having sex.

1. That was fast

Well, you could have been referring to just how quickly he pulled off your bra or how fast he got you ready for action but best believe, no man wants to hear those three little words. They go hand in hand with I love during a night stand.

2. I’ll do it myself

It can be a bit frustrating when you’re trying to get in the mood and your partner has zero idea about how to pleasure you. It goes unsaid but a lot of people are insecure about their ability to please in bed. Instead of offering to bring yourself to peak, direct your partner on what to do. Its sexy learning each other’s body, also imagine just how sexy it is if he/she brings you to peak while you watch.

Rarely do we talk about it but a lot of people are very insecure about their ability to give pleasure. (Courtesy)

3. I can’t feel you

(Cringe) There’s no positive side to this, it’s like saying he threw a hot dog down a hallway. First of all, a hallway is pretty huge but then again a hot dog is pretty small. Get the picture? This would be the ultimate self-tackle.

4. By the way…

Don’t be surprised if your partner breaks into cold sweat at the utterance of these words.  It’s safe to say that no sentence that starts like this during sex is usually positive and no one is really sure what’s about to come next, ‘ I’m pregnant, I’ve got chlamydia or hey, imagine your best friend is bigger?’ Scary, very scary!

5. I love you

Let’s get this straight, unless the two of you are seriously dating or married, avoid cupid manenos and stick to gibberish. The amount of sexy in that will be determined by just how good you sound moaning.

6. Speaking of moaning, can you not mention names

While a firefighter will give you strict instructions to follow during fire breakouts, sex gurus will tell you to keep off the names unless you’re only sexually interested in one person only. Otherwise, Kevin will bring his A game and you’ll thank Jones for it. Not very pleasant, is it?

7. You want to do what?

You’re probably a very simple person, you know, never asking for more than just that bend-me-over-lift-my-legs-like-you’re-changing-my-diapers-daddy kind of sex but here comes Mr Lover with a new idea. While you may find it absurd, you don’t have to shoot it down. Instead, give it a try and if you don’t like it just inform your partner about it. Another way to go about it is just tell them in the most polite way that you don’t feel comfortable and suggest something else that’s fun.
Want to add on to our list? What are some of the things you avoid saying during sex?

Therefore, considering homemade, natural skincare is a thing reasonable to do. After all, it can also help improve your overall complexion and give your skin a healthy glow.

A dermatologist can tell you your skin type and about any other skin conditions you might have. This can help you avoid foods, medications, supplements, and skincare products that could make your skin worse.
How can I make my own skin cream?
There are many ways you can make your own skin cream to help stay away from harsh chemicals. But before you begin the adventure, it is important that you know first: your skin type.
What are the different types of skins?
1. Normal skin, which has little or no sensitivity, extremely small pores and a bright complexion. It is not too dry or oily.
2. Combination skin, which can be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others. The oily areas usually include the nose, forehead, and chin. It can cause overly dilated pores, blackheads, and an oily sheen on certain parts of the skin.
3. Oily skin, which has enlarged pores and is prone to blackheads, pimples, and other blemishes. People with oily skin can have either a dull or shiny complexion.
4. Dry skin, which is characterized by less elasticity, red patches, more visible wrinkles and lines, nearly invisible pores, and a dull sheen.
Certain factors such as hormonal changes, dry weather, extended hot showers, medications, ultraviolet radiation, and ingredients in skin products can make dry skin worse. This causes scaly, irritated, inflamed, or peeling skin.
Now that the knowledge of your skin has been obtained, it is okay and safe for us to embark on our adventure of making our own natural skin whitening cream.

2. One teaspoon of honey

3. Two tablespoon lemon juice

4; Pinch of ground turmeric

Steps for mixing skin cream?:
Use a food processor to crush the almonds until it becomes powder. Make sure to watch it carefully as it may turn into almond butter if you process them for too long.
You may also buy a pack of pre-crushed almonds, labeled as “almond flour,” or “almond meal,” if you don’t have a food processor.
Combine the almond powder with the honey, lemon juice, turmeric and yogurt. Stir and make sure the mixture is blended thoroughly.
Apply on your skin liberally, everyday, before going to bed.

Additional Tips for glowing skin

You can as well lighten up your skin from the inside in a natural way by eating a lot of fruits and vegetables, as well as drinking plenty of water. Minimum of 4 litres per day.
And while you do this, you must remember this basic rule: stay out of the sun.

Conclusion

By and large; you are beautiful, even if you are not born with a fair complexion.
Majority of the world’s acclaimed stars are not fair skinned, still attraction cannot be separated from them. But however, if a fairer skin is what you desire, then this homemade recipe is a good way to go.
Cheers!!!

How to Apply Makeup

Image result for how to do facial makeup

Wearing makeup is common place in today's society, worn for anything from a day at work to a formal night out. However, if you're a newcomer to the world of cosmetics, you may find yourself at a loss with the infinite varieties of makeup and styles that can be found. Luckily, it's not too difficult to learn what the most elementary makeup products are, and how to use each one.

1: Preparing your face
a)Remove any old makeup. When you’re applying makeup, it is necessary to start with a clean palette. Therefore, remove any of last night's makeup that you might have slept on, and wash off makeup from earlier on in the day. If you try to apply more makeup over the top of old makeup (not including touch ups), your end look will appear caked on and more unnatural than makeup put on a fresh face. You can use a good makeup remover or a mild baby oil to get rid of all makeup residues.
  • Keep in mind that you should always remove your makeup at the end of the day; sleeping with your makeup on can clog your pores and cause blemishes and wrinkles.
b)
Wash your face. For the same reason you remove your old makeup, you should also wash your face; leaving grease and sweat on your face can give a fresh cover of makeup a shiny, caked on look after several hours. Use a mild face cleanser to gently wash your face, spending about one minute of scrubbing to remove all bacteria and dead skin cells in your pores. Finish up by applying a facial moisturizer. Dry skin will look flaky to start with and gain oil to compensate later on, so be sure your skin has been treated with a bit of lotion.
c)

Apply your concealer. The purpose of concealer is to even out uneven skin tone as a result of blemishes or dark under-eye circles. Use a concealer brush or your (clean) fingertips to blend concealer on your bottom eyelids, on any red patchy areas, or over any acne or dark spots. Blend the edges of your concealer spots so avoid having discolored marks around your face.
d)

Put on a coat of foundation. There are several types of foundation, but they are generally applied the same way. Liquid, cream, and powder foundations all act to create a totally even complexion, working to blend your natural skin tone with the concealer you’ve already applied. Use a foundation brush to apply foundation to the entirety of your face, blending into your neck and earlobes if necessary. Keep in mind that your foundation should be the same color as your natural skin tone, not much darker or lighter. Your foundation should go over the top of the areas that have concealer to blend them.
  • You can use a concealer brush to add a little extra foundation to cover up stubborn blemishes.
  • Liquid foundation can be applied with your fingertips, although this is more likely to introduce bacteria to your skin and cause future breakouts.
e)Set your foundation. This step is optional, but if you’re looking for long-lasting makeup you can use a setting powder to hold your foundation and concealer in place. Use a large, fluffy brush to cover your whole face in a neutral or matching setting powder. This step is particularly important or useful if you’re using liquid foundation, as it will help to set the foundation and remove any sheen that might be making an appearance.
f)

Apply a highlighter. With your foundation completed, it is likely that your face now looks contour-less and flat because of the uniform color. In order to provide some depth, you’ll need to create the illusion of highlights and shadows. Use a cream or powder highlighter to brighten up the deepest areas of your face: the inside corners of your eyes, underneath your eyebrows, in the center of your cupid’s bow, and on the tops/sides of your cheekbones. This will make your face look more bright and awake than it would otherwise.
  • Create a ‘3’ shape on your cheekbones, into your eyebrows, and up to your forehead for the perfect highlight.
  • You can use your fingers or a small highlighter brush to apply the highlighter.
g)Add depth with contouring. The opposite of bringing out the highlights on your face, contouring involves adding a powder that is a few shades darker than your actual skin tone (different than a bronzer) to the areas you want to look minimized or further away. Typically, you should contour under your cheekbones in the hollows of your cheeks, and on the sides of your nose. This will make your face look thinner and longer in appearance, and provide the shadows that naturally occur without foundation.

h)

Apply a little blush. The final step in prepping your face is to add blush to your cheeks. Everyone’s cheeks have a bit of color, but this color varies for every person. Apply your blush with large brush on the apples of your cheeks (the round part that forms when you smile). Don’t go too heavy with your blush, just add enough to replenish the color that would form naturally.
i)

Fill in your eyebrows. This step is optional depending on the fullness of your eyebrows, but is generally recommended for those who have thin or sparse eyebrows. Select a color of brow pencil or powder that is close to your natural hair color. Start by outlining the edges of your eyebrows, and then fill in the center with a bit of color. Use short strokes that mimic the look of your hair, going in the same direction of your hair growth

2:Adding Your Eye Makeup

a)
Apply an eyeshadow primer. This is another optional course of action, but applying an eyeshadow primer will help your eyeshadow to stay on for much longer. If you’ve gone without it, you may have noticed that your eyeshadow fades or becomes oily and collects in the creases of your eyelids after several hours. Use your fingertip to dab on your eyeshadow primer, blending it from the roots of your lashes to the top of your crease.

b)

Put on your eyeshadow. There are many ways to apply eyeshadow, although the most basic and classic look is to apply a single color over the entirety of your eyelid. Use an eyeshadow brush to apply your eyeshadow to your eyelid, starting in the center near your lash line and blending outwards. Fade your eyeshadow into your natural skin tone near your crease and the inside and outside corners of your eyes, to prevent any harsh lines from forming. If you want a bit more dramatic look, apply a second darker color of eyeshadow in a ‘C’ shape from the outside corner of your lash line up to the top, outer ⅓ of your eyelid crease.
  • Your main color of eyeshadow should never go all the way to your eyebrow, and should not extend further off your lid than the end of your eyebrow (unless you’re going for a very dramatic look).
  • You may, however, highlight your browbone (the area under your eyebrow but above your crease) by applying a lighter shade of eyeshadow. Be sure to use natural colors such as cream, sand, or white, if your skin is pale. Alternatively, try a nude shade slightly lighter than your skintone. The color doesn't have to be matte, but any sparkle it does have should be subtle.
  • You can blend your eyeshadow onto your lower lid, as long as you are careful not to extend it lower than your bottom lashes.
  • If you use multiple colors of eyeshadow, always be sure to blend them together.
c)
Apply your eyeliner. The purpose of eyeliner is to provide the illusion of a fuller lash line; therefore, choose a color that is similar to your natural hair color (or brown if you have blond hair) to go along your lashes. For a smudgy look, use an eyeliner pencil, or create a sleek and smooth look by using cream or liquid eyeliner. Create a dashed or dotted line across your lash line, and then connect the dots to create a full, continuous line. You can choose to wing the end up and outwards a bit if you want, otherwise you simply need to follow your lash line from the inside corner to the outside corner.
  • Adding eyeliner to your bottom lash line should be done for special occasions only, as it will create a much darker/bolder look and appear a bit more unnatural than eyeliner on your top lash line only.
  • If you feel comfortable, try tight-lining your eyes by using your eyeliner on the waterline of your eyelid.
d)

Finish off with mascara. To complete your eye makeup, you’ll need to top off your eyes with a bit of mascara. There are several mascaras to choose from depending on the look you want; if you have short lashes, use a mascara that will add length, or if you have thin lashes, use a volumizing mascara. Dip the brush in the mascara once and lightly wipe off the excess onto the edge of the container or a paper towel. Looking downward, apply it to the top lash with upward strokes. Start with the inner part of your way and work your way outward. Do both eyes with two coats, then let dry.[3]
  • Wiggle the brush as you apply it, as this will help to coat between lashes instead of just the under layer.
  • Never pump your mascara brush in and out of the mascara, as this causes air pockets.
  • You can add a coat of mascara to your bottom lashes, but this can make your eyes seem darker which is a look some people prefer to avoid.
  • Avoid applying more than two coats of mascara, as this will take away the natural darkening look and give a cake-y thick look that is much less natural.
  • A good trick for making your lashes look fuller is to apply a coat of baby powder between coats of mascara; this will add a bit of length and volume to your lashes.
3:Adding Color to Your Lips
a)
Smooth out your lips. Apply lip balm, primer, or sealer. This will help make all lip products applied last longer and much more vibrant. Additionally, who doesn’t prefer soft lips? Adding a good balm or salve will prevent your lips from flaking later in the day, which lipstick and gloss can both cause.
b)

Apply lip liner. Line your lips with a liner that matches your lip color. Sharpen your lip liner, and line around the natural line of your lips. With your lips outlined, use the pencil to continue filling in your lips. This works to even out the color and texture of your lips, making it easier to apply a gloss or lipstick late
c)

Apply lipstick or lip gloss with a brush. Select a lipstick or gloss of your choice to go over your lipliner; for a natural look stick with a nude shade, or pick a bright hue for a more bold appearance. Start in the center of your lip, and blend the color outwards. Be sure to apply the color as close to the edges of your lips as you can without overdoing it and going outside your lip line. To prevent any lipstick from getting on your teeth, stick your index finger straight into your mouth and pull it out quickly; any excess color will stick to your finger and avoid being transferred to your teeth later on.

Finish off your look. With the completion of your lips makeup, your look is finished! Give yourself a once-over to make sure there aren’t any smudges or loose eyeshadow that needs to be removed with a fluffy brush. If you do have any mistakes, use a q-tip dipped in makeup remover to rectify them

ARRANGING YOUR BEDROOM FURNITURE

The bed is the key piece of furniture in any bedroom, and it naturally becomes the focal point. Bedroom furniture is traditionally arranged according to a few general rules. For the most part based on common sense, here are some general guidelines for you to follow:

  • Traditionally, folks tend to place a double, queen-sized, or king-sized bed against the center of the wall opposite the main door to the room. With this arrangement, the headboard is the center of attention as you enter the room.
If the dimensions of your room prevent you from positioning your bed on the wall across from the door, other possible choices depend on which walls are long enough to accommodate the bed. Diagonal placement works well when you have the space.
  • Do not place a bed under a window, if the window will frequently be open. Open windows can create uncomfortable drafts. Positioning a bed between two windows, however, works well.
If your home is air-conditioned or heated year-round and the windows are seldom open, you may be able to ignore this rule.
  • Do not place the bed where it obstructs a door into the room or a walkway through the room.
  • Consider nontraditional furniture arrangements if doing so will free up space or use space in a more interesting way.
For example, a bed may look dramatic placed in front of a secure window; on a diagonal, which takes up extra space; sideways along a wall, to maximize floor space; or in an alcove (a technique called lit clos).
  • If your closet is large enough and you’d like to free-up floor space, put your chest of drawers inside your walk-in closet. Doing this will let you add additional pieces of furniture, such as a writing desk, a seating group, or a big screen TV, to transform any bedroom into a luxury suite.
Bedrooms used by a specific group of people have unique needs. Whether you’re decorating a master bedroom, a guest room, or a room for children, the following sections provide you with the tips you need.

MASTER BEDROOMS

A master bedroom doesn’t have to be huge, but it does need to offer the amenities you need. If your space is less masterful than you’d like, look at some of the following suggestions for decorating your bedroom:

  • Make the bedroom look larger by eliminating clutter.
  • Use only necessary furniture. If you can, push a chest of drawers into a walk-in closet to free up floor space.
  • Keep the bed visually low. Use a headboard, but don’t use a footboard, and opt for something other than a four-poster bed, all of which tend to take up space visually, making the room seem smaller.
  • Keep all your furniture — like the rest of your color scheme — light.Light colored furniture, walls, floors, window treatments, and bedding make a room seem bigger.
Regardless of the size of your master bedroom, the following tips can help you to make it as comfortable as possible:
  • Add bedside tables that are as big as space will allow. If you read or watch TV in bed, you’ll find these tables helpful.
You can buy restaurant café tables for very little money and drape them with quilts.
  • Try to make room for at least one comfortable chair. Chairs are great for company on a sick day, for daytime resting, or for reading.
  • Consider carpeting all bedroom floors to reduce noise in the room.

Add a lady’s desk — a small, delicately proportioned furnishing for writing letters and so forth — if you have room.

TEEN BEDROOMS

Teenagers usually know what they want in a bedroom and aren’t slow to tell you that they need storage for books and music and space for their collections of just about anything you can name.

They have firm ideas about style and colors, so ask! And when your son or daughter requests a wild color, do your best to persuade him or her to use it as an accent.

More and more activities from surfing the Net to entertaining take place in a teen’s room. Extra seating and small tables provide space for visitors. Keep furnishings practical and easy to care for.

CHILDREN’S BEDROOMS

Nurseries must be planned with the child’s future years in mind. But from the beginning, make room for a changing table near the crib. As always, keep safety in mind. The following tips will help you do all of these things:

  • Keep cribs away from windows and window blind cords.
  • Make sure cribs and bunk beds meet federal safety standards. Check to see that mattresses fit snugly against the crib’s sides. Slats, spindles, rods, and corner posts should be no more than 2-3/8 inches apart from each other. Make sure a child can’t release the drop side of a crib.

  • Choose chests and cabinets that can’t be tipped over (even when drawers are opened and a child crawls up and into them). This may call for fastening them to the wall for security.
  • Find hardware that’s rounded, sanded, and has no sharp edges.
  • Equip all electrical outlets with plastic safeguard plugs.
Eliminate any small throw rugs on slippery floors.

  • Make sure all flooring is skidproof.
  • Eliminate dangling cords on window blinds.
  • Choose bunk beds with sturdy ladders, handrails, and safety rails.
Make sure you have a guest bed for occasional sleepovers. A trundle bed, which neatly stores a second bed beneath a regular one, is the ideal solution for children’s rooms.

GUEST BEDROOMS

Setting aside a room for guests makes their stay more comfortable not only for them, but also for you. You can furnish the guest room with a marvelous bed and all the necessary furnishings and forget about it. Check out the following suggestions for ways to make your guest room comfortable:

  • Buy a handsome, space-saving daybed or sofa bed that fits smartly against the wall and out of the way.
The versatility of these beds makes them a delightful option in a home office or other double-duty room. You may even consider installing a Murphy bed that hides away in a closet.
  • Make sure that your guest has plenty of closet space.
  • Dedicate two sets of sheets, a comforter, special pillows, a duvet cover, and pillow shams to your guest room.

How to Find the Perfect Outfit

Clothes can do a lot for a person's self-esteem. If you feel uncomfortable or stuck in a rut because of your clothing choices, it's time to look for the perfect outfit. While the perfect outfit doesn't follow an exact formula, it will make you feel your best. And since the perfect outfit will mean different things to everyone, you'll need to look for clothes from new places or try mixing accessories. Have fun and don't be afraid to wear a completely different look.

  1. 1
Get rid of clothing you no longer want. It's easy to accumulate so much clothing that you become overwhelmed by it. Sort through all of your clothing to decide what to keep and what to donate or sell. If you're having trouble deciding whether or not to keep something, ask yourself:
    • Does this still fit me?
    • Would I like to wear this right now?
  2. 2
Do you feel confident in this?
    • Do I feel good when I wear this?
    • Are there occasions where I would wear this again?
  3. 3
Repurpose your older clothing. Look at the clothing that you kept, but don't wear very often. You might want to tailor pieces to create new clothing items. A classic example is to cut the legs off of an old pair of denim jeans, creating denim shorts. But, you can create more unique pieces with older clothing. Try:
    • Getting your clothing tailored. If you have a classic suit, but you never wear it because it's too large, get it taken in.[1]
    • Consider using the fabric from a vintage skirt to create a new shirt or bag.
    • Dress up a vintage t-shirt by wearing it with a tailored blazer or sports jacket.

  4. 4
Sort your shoes. You should have shoes for a variety of situations. To keep things simple, start by making sure you have shoes for work (whether they're dressy or active), running around, casual everyday wear, and dressy or formal situations. For example, you may want:[2][3]
    • Active: sneakers, boots
    • Dressy: oxfords, pumps, heels
    • Casual: sandals, boots, flats, loafers
  5. 5
Locate your outerwear. Gather all of your jackets, scarves and hats in an easy to find place. This is something you may want to do seasonally, every 4 months or so. The outerwear you need for winter will be remarkably different than what you need in the spring or summer. Here are some examples of what to gather:[4]
    • Winter: heavy coat (like wool), larger warm scarves, beret, parka, beanie
    • Spring: layering jackets (like cotton), cardigans, pullovers, blazers, fedora
    • Summer: lighter jackets (like denim or bomber), baseball caps
  6. 6
Gather your accessories. Find your sunglasses, jewelry, purses, belts, ties, and watches. These accessories are the finishing touches for your outfit, so try to have a variety of styles. Look at thrift stores, antique malls, garage sales, or shop for locally made items. To get started, try to find:
    • Sunglasses: a simple black or tortoiseshell pair, a fun bright pair, aviators
    • Jewelry: earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, cuff links, watches
    • Belts: simple black or brown belt and wide patterned belt
  7. 7
Get out of a style rut. Try something different. Look for clothing in different textures, colors, patterns, or style. If you don't feel like buying new clothes, spend some time pairing clothing pieces that you don't normally wear together. You might just find a new combination that reinvigorates your wardrobe.[5]
    • Break some fashion rules. Try pairing bright or patterned clothes with other bright patterned clothes. Or, layer different textures to add interest to a new look.
  1. 1Consider the occasion or day. The perfect outfit should fit the kind of day you're having or event you're going to. You may need active wear if you're working out at the gym. Or, you should find a nice suit if you'll be in meetings for most of the day. Dressy events call for formal attire, while just hanging out at home means you can wear something comfy and casual.Don't be surprised if you need to change clothes throughout day depending on what you have to do. Just be prepared and bring changes of clothes to meet your needs.
  2. 2
Check the weather. Your wardrobe should already be narrowed down by season, but you'll need to consider the weather for the day. You don't want to be in a hot wool suit if it's 90 degrees outside. Likewise, you'll regret wearing a summer dress if it's snowing outside.
    • Check the weather forecast for the day or just look outside the window before you get dressed. If you're unsure what the weather may do, try to be prepared. Carry an umbrella, wear a cardigan, or bring a change of shoes if you think the weather may turn.
  3. 3
Select the focus of your outfit. Choose one piece of clothing that you know you want to wear and build your outfit around it. For example, you may choose a bright print tie or a striking blazer. To keep things simple, just choose one article of clothing to highlight.[6]
    • Don't worry if you'd also like to highlight an accessory. The goal of focusing on a clothing item is to help you fashion an outfit and avoid competing clothing items (like a striped shirt with striped pants and striped tie).
  4. 4
Wear outwear that compliments your outfit. Once you have a main clothing piece, choose clothes that accent the item. Avoid completely matching the pieces. This can make them compete for attention. Instead, look for things that really make your focus piece stand out.
    • For example, if you've chosen a striking navy blazer, you might wear a simple white shirt and tan slacks. Or, if you've picked a bright yellow floral skirt, instead of wearing a yellow shirt or floral blouse, wear a navy or denim shirt.
  5. 5
Wear the right shoes. The perfect outfit can seem out of place if your shoes are inappropriate. Again, take the weather and occasion into account. Don't forget that you should also be as comfortable as possible. This can be obvious, like wearing sneakers if you're going to be working out. Or, you may really need to consider your day. If you're wearing a simple dress which looks good with heels or flats and you'll be running from meeting to meeting, you may want to choose the more comfortable shoes.
    • If you think you'll be on your feet for a long time, you may want to bring a few pairs of shoes that you can change into.
  6. 6
Consider adding accessories. To really make your outfit look put together, add an interesting accessory like cuff links or a scarf. This can add color or interest to a simple outfit. Or, if you have a really bright clothing item, a plain scarf can balance your look. Don't be afraid to try on several things until you find something that works.
    • When adding jewelry, avoid wearing too many matching pieces. Doing so will make your look seem forced.
  7. 7
Dress up your uniform or usual look. Once you've found a few outfits that you really like, it's easy to keep wearing the same things. This can speed up getting dressed in the morning, but you may want to look more polished or stand out. Make sure your outfit looks mature. Avoid wearing graphic tees, hoodies, or clothing you would have worn 20 years ago.[7] To make your look feel more put together:
    • Wear a leather bracelet or classic watch.
    • Make a casual sweater stand out by layering a crisp white or colored shirt underneath.
    • Wear more dramatic makeup, highlighting your eyes or mouth (not both).
    • Wear shoes that are a bit dressier than you'd normally choose.
    • Apply cologne or perfume.
